Description + Fitment

The Phaser Limiters and Adjustable Phaser Locks, which took home the honor of Best New Performance-Racing Product at the 2010 SEMA show, allow independent control over intake and exhaust centerlines, and eliminate piston to valve clearance issues that can occur when using larger aftermarket Camshafts in 2011 Ford 5.0L Modular V8 engines. The U.S. Patented COMP Cams Phaser Limiters for the 5.0L Coyote Modular V8 Engines physically limit maximum Cam phasing to 20 crank degrees (10 Cam degrees). Four separate phaser limiters, with the proper tuning software, allow the OEM computer to independently control intake and exhaust centerlines. Take full advantage of the benefits of Variable Valve Timing (VVT) when using aggressive aftermarket Camshafts without needing to install custom pistons to eliminate valve clearance issues. For maximum performance, custom remapping of the Cam phasing ECU control tables is required.Physically limit maximum Cam phasing to avoid piston to valve clearance issues with aggressive camsFour phaser limiters or locks offer precise, independent control over intake and exhaust centerlinesPhaser limiters physically limit Cam phasing to 20 crank degrees (10 Cam degrees) while allocating maximum intake advance and exhaust retardAllows use of larger, more aggressive aftermarket Camshafts in 2011 Ford 5.0L Modular V8 engines
