Refund policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Downloadable software products including digital products
Electronic Items including diagnostic tools
Special order or Stock order items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where no or partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition is damaged, used, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery - Cores must be received within 20 days to be approved for a refund 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@gtrauto.ca.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@gtrauto.ca

Cancellations (if applicable)
Special order parts, stock order,  and stock transfers can be subject to a one hundred percent (100%) restocking / cancellation fee. Orders that are approved for cancellation are subject to cancellation fees, restocking fees and/or transaction fees up to 100%

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, you should email us at info@gtrauto.ca for an RMA

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If your purchased item is damaged on arrival, please take a close picture of the defect and of the box the item arrived in and email them to us (info@gtrauto.ca). We will forward these pictures to the shipping company and fill a Claim with shipping company.

All DoA (Damaged on Arrival) reports must be sent in 24 hours after the item is received. No DoA claim can be filled with GTR Auto over 24 hours after package delivery.

If you are dissatisfied with your part purchase for any reason, you may, so long as the product has not been installed, assembled or damaged by you, return it within 10 days of receiving for an in-store credit (subject to product availability and inspection). The part returned, must be in the exact condition as when it was shipped to you. Non-defective product returns that are returned for credit will be subject to a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee. Special order parts, stock order,  and stock transfers can be subject to a one hundred percent (100%) restocking fee. All returns are also subject to inspection prior to refund or replacement. No returns on tools including diagnostic tools or electrical components whatsoever. No exceptions.

During the ordering process, we are also not responsible for any shipping delays due to weather, back-orders, or any other situation out of GTR Autos' control

Parts are required to be inspected by the customer prior to installation to ensure proper fitment will occur. We are not responsible for any damages.

In order to verify part fitment we highly recommend sending us an email to confirm your application or checking the manufacturer's website  

Like other retailers of branded products, GTR Auto does not offer any product warranty of our own--we honor the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product. If you have a problem with a part during the warranty period please contact us. For warranty details, please visit the manufacturer's website. Warranties offer only replacement of the defective part with another part: no cash refunds and no reimbursement of labor costs, shipping costs or other expenses. Replacement under warranty does not extend the warranty term. Warranties begin upon delivery.

Please note that you are responsible for all taxes, fees, and duties regarding this order. These parts are meant for off-road use only!
